“The Big Picture” with the Group Chief ExecutiveOur Group CEO, Mr. Michael Geoghegan visited the Group Service Centers in Bangalore and Kolkata. The visit bares testimony to the importance of HSBC Global Resourcing from the Group’s perspective. The CEO’s first halt was at Bangalore, where he visited the fabled Infosys Campus to get a first hand perspective on India’s leading software giants at work. Mr. Geoghegan then visited the HSBC Bank. After a warm traditional welcome, he spent some time understanding the Bank’s operations which was then followed by lunch with some prominent customers. Mr. Geoghegan was then escorted to the Group Service Center Bangalore, where the Center Manager, played the perfect host taking Mr. Geoghegan on a tour of the floors where he spent time interacting with employees. The Bangalore visit culminated with ‘The Big Picture’ event, with an attendance of over 300 employees. The top performers were felicitated by Mr. Geoghegan, a proud moment for the achievers indeed! The next stop was a brief halt at the Global Technology Center, Pune where a brief over view of the center’s performance and the future growth plans were shared with Mr. Geoghegan. Mr. Geoghegan’s final stop was at Kolkata, where he visited the HSBC bank prior to visiting the Group Service Center Kolkata. The center Manager Kolkata, took Mr. Geoghegan on a site tour, giving him an overview of the Kolkata center. Likewise, Mr. Geoghegan interacted with Customer Service Executives on the floor along with their managers to understand their scope of work. He also sought their inputs on how to provide better & higher level of customer service. The day concluded with the “Big Picture Road” show felicitating the 100 Club Semifinalists, and Half-Year Awardees.
